ROB BIDDULPH, Author and Illustrator!
Rob Biddulph was also in the Big Draw Challenge, his were all quite quirky.
But Rob also had his own session as well.
He had many great tips and he got the crowd involved. Rob asked the audience to have a go at drawing Fred, an Olympic gold medalist of the Bear Olympics in his book GRRRRR! My family had a go, I still think Rob's was by far the best! Then Rob read us two of his stories, 'Sunk!' and 'GRRRRR!' they were hilarious. If you haven't read one go NOW!
Rob has three daughters, (one is called Ella) when they have a packed lunch he leaves them a lunch box post it. Some are simple yet effective, others are extremely detailed and elaborate. A whole room is covered with a variety of them in his house!
Later, Rob signed some books, I got mine signed and asked him if I could take his Fred home. He said "Yes." how generous! In return, we gave him ours. I'll cherish the picture forever!

Hi Ella. Rob here. Wow! What an lovely article and what an AMAZING blog. You're so talented! I've just spent half an hour exploring your site and there is so much to read. I feel very honoured to be included. It was lovely to meet you and your sister in Stratford (please say hi to Eva from me) and thanks again for the drawings you gave me. I'm about to take a picture of them and put them up on my twitter and instagram accounts because as many people as possible need to see them. Maybe get mum to have a look and show you. Right, I'd better go now - I've got another Flat Stanley book to illustrate before the end of May so I'd better get my skates on!
